CEA and EAQUALS

After some discussion about the respective accreditation issues that EAQUALS and CEA demand, our recommendation is that SFL apply for both EAQUALS and CEA accreditation;

However, given that CEA provides a slightly less complex set of demands, our suggestion is to work on CEA standards in the short-term, and to aim for an accreditation visit in Fall Semester 2012. In meeting CEA standards, SFL will have completed many of the EAQUALS standards at the same time; the remaining EAQUALS standards can then be worked on subsequently.

We have asked SFL Administration to provide all academic staff members with a copy of the CEA handbook, which we hope you will all receive shortly.
